Ballet |
All 30-minute ballet classes
may wear any color leotard and tights. All 45-minute
ballet classes need to wear a black leotard and pink
tights. |

Tap |
Black leotard and pink, tan,
or black tights. Beginning and intermediate tap may wear
any color leotard, shorts, or capris. |
|
Jazz |
Black leotard and pink, tan,
or black tights. You may wear dance shorts. Beginning
Jazz may wear any color leotard and shorts. |

Poms |
Same as Jazz. |
|
Hip Hop |
Shorts or capris, leotard or
fitted shirt. NO pants are allowed. |
|
Lyrical |
Black leotard and pink, tan,
or black tights. |

Modern |
Black leotard and pink, tan,
or black footless tights or no tights. |

Pointe |
Black leotard, pink ballet tights, and pointe shoes of
any kind as long as they fit you correctly and you have
your teacher’s approval before you sew on ribbons and wear them. |

Pre-Pointe |
Black leotard and pink ballet
tights. |

Masters |
Black leotard and pink, tan
or black tights. You may wear short black dance shorts. |

Musical Theatre |
Same as Jazz. |

Shoes
All shoes MUST
BE purchased through Steppin' Out,
with the exception of pointe shoes.

and tights, Steppin' Out has a variety

gear available for purchase, such as
shorts, t-shirts,
sweatshirts, capris, fleece pullovers,
and decorative dance-themed pins.
Custom-ordered warm-up jackets and pants feature the
dancer's name
embroidered on the left chest panel.
